Reliance Industries voluntarily closes its Uruguayan wholly-owned subsidiary

Reliance Industries Ltd., the wholly-owned business of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, said on Friday, September 27, that Reliance Uruguay Petroquimica S.A. (Reliance Uruguay) would be voluntarily liquidated, with effect from September 26, 2024.

“This is to inform that Reliance Industries Uruguay Petroquimica S.A, (Reliance Uruguay), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has been voluntary liquidated and has ceased to be a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company with effect from September 26, 2024,” according to a filing with the stock exchange.
